Business Continuity Management

The objectives of the Business Continuity Management Committee are to:

• Provide members with opportunities to receive pertinent and timely information from disaster recovery, emergency management, business continuity management and information security specialists to be better prepared for disasters and their aftermath.
• Act as a clearinghouse for the exchange of ideas and information on best practice in business continuity planning and management for sharing with your local senior management, operational staff and their respective host country European headquarters on specific threats to Japan.
• Conduct ongoing research and disseminate information to its members on disaster management, crisis management and Japan specific risk assessments.
• Monitor and advise the Japanese Government on BCM-related policy

The committee meets regularly to gain insights from presentations from guest speakers and committee members on related topics. Meetings are held around every 6-8 weeks at the EBC Office.
