Details: Earlier this year, The European Union and Japan finally agreed to start talks on a free-trade agreement (FTA) that will potentially inject much-needed fresh impetus into the economies of both Japan and the EU.  With bilateral trade already at 110 billion euros a year, tackling all obstacles to free trade would release a big potential for business on both sides.

The EBC has been lobbying intensively for a balanced agreement over the last few years. Outgoing EBC Chairman Mr. Tommy Kullberg, supported by a panel of EBC experts, will explain the EBC’s response with input from the various business sectors represented by the EBC.

The seminar will be followed by a networking cocktail (incl. finger food buffet) from 7:00PM onwards

As this will be the last opportunity to hear Mr. Kullberg in his role as EBC Chairman, from which he will retire at the end of this year, please come along to hear his views on the FTA/EPA and say farewell at the networking cocktail.

The European Chambers are looking forward to welcoming you and your guests. Seats are limited so please make sure to reply and confirm your attendance ASAP.
