Briefing with Commissioner Kuneva

The EBC met with Mrs. Meglena Kuneva, Commissioner for Consumer Protection, at the EBC Office on December 9, 2009. The EBC briefed Commissioner Kuneva on the new Japanese government and discussed key sector issues as well as general EBC policies. The EBC party, consisting of EBC Chairman Tommy Kullberg, Executive Director Alison Murray, Policy Director Jakob Edberg, Insurance Committee Chairman John Kakinuki, and Retail & Wholesale Committee Chairman Roger Neckelius, alongside Member of Cabinet of the Commissioner Andriana Sukova-Tosheva, Gijs Berends, Naoko Shinomiya, and Stefan Huber from the Delegation of the European Union to Japan attended the meeting.
